Why Read Honestly?

This all came about when I talked to my sister about books I was reading and the quality of writing, whether the technical aspects or the development of plot and character.  I said something to the effect of “I should just write reviews,” and she said, “You should just get a blog.”  So here it is: a completely biased collection of reviews of books.  I do my best to keep polite and, at the very least, respectful of the books, but sometimes we just need an honest voice.  And now it’s here.
